I went to a bumper crop of gigs in 2025 and I usually take a little bit of video at each. Not much but just enough to prove I was there. It then disappears into my phone forever so I’m going to post them here for my own enjoyment. Feel free to leave unless you like my kind of music. It goes heavy!
Highlights of the year were:
- Descendents. I’ve waited 25 years to see them. One of the all time greatest punk bands of all time ever forever!
- Touche Amore. I lost my voice, got covered in other peoples sweat and ruined my shoes.
- Sunny Day Real Estate. So amazing to finally see them. My emo self was in his element.
- Turnstile. The first time was great but the second time was epic. The band of the year. Even Elton John likes them.
- Million Dead. I saw them before they broke up at Reading festival 2005 and just before they broke up again 20 years later.
